I bought an Allnet ALL6500 and flahed the newest Firmware 2.1.03 from the
allnet website. After this, I found this website and I'm very unhappy because
of my upgrade... a login per SSH would be very nice to have.. i dind't knew about
the impossibility of downgrading, so i did not change the root passwort.
Allnet modified the Firmware in a way, that the System/Module Managment Option
is not available threwout menue. But if I modifey the internetlink to something
like
http://...?module
and the Module Managment Menue ist available. But I wasn't able to upload mods
- after pressing the uploading button simply nothing happens. I disabled the XP SP2
firewall, just in case but it didn't helped. I think this is the main problem. If i can install
mods my problem can be fixed, but this menue seems to be useless.
I also did try to upload original Thecus N2100 Firmware, but ist impossible because
the Allnet Nas must be modifed per SSH to use Thecus Firmware...
So...
- I can't downgrad from this Firmware
- I can't login per SSH
- I can't modify All6500 to N2100
- I can't upload Mods
Any suggestions? A way to downgrade Firmeware? Install Debian and reinstall
somehow (way to complex for me) ?!?! Sell it at ebay? ^^
