It looks like it is only possbile to mount root directories as defined in folders. Defining and being able to mount any other subdirectory within a folder as mount point is high on my wishlist.
Also nice would be to be able to link directories across folders (so a link to a sub-tree of a private folder is put into a public one) or you can choose to make the public folder based purely on links to other (sub)folders, ths would make a more dynamic release of data possible without copying complete trees all the time.
Also setting all this could be cumbersome with the current user-interface, an nice alternative would be to be able to copy/paste a mount text file in one go with all mount points and link definitions. Or even better: a reference to a file in a folder with all definitions.
