Hi All,
Forgive me if this has been answered before (can't seem to find anything). I just received my N5200PRO and am in the process of building a raid5 array with 100% data allocated. While this is taking place, I'm trying to find the Module Management menu in the System dropdown, but it isn't there. Is there something I need to do to get the Module Management option to appear? Do I need to wait for the system to complete building the raid5 array? Should I have left the allocate data field as 95%?
Secondly, I was wondering if there's a way to create a 'guest' account with a blank password for SMB use? The web interface seems to require a 4+ character password. Is there any way around this?
Any help would be appreciated!!
Cheers!

Great... Just read peterfu's response in the other module guide thread. It clearly states at the end that Module Management is only available with a working raid. Doh. I guess that answers my first question. Sorry. But if anyone can chime in on the blank password, that would be great!

Why not create a folder with public access? This way everybody can access without login. ;D

Hi Finder,
Maybe the possibility of setting a folder to public access will be suitable for your need? You can find that with the folder settings.

I am trying to set up my accounts on a new 5200. My windows PC has the default admin user, with no logon password. I created a user on the 5200 with a username and password, but they dont seem to be accepted on a non-public folder. Am I missing something?

I was looking at the smb.conf and wanted to verify before I break something. Would the 'inherit acls' and 'map acl inherit' be the settings I am interested in? I dont fully understand their description on the man pages and was wondering why they are set to yes by the 5200.
