Hello,
I cannot login to N5200PRO on port 22 (SSH) using Putty. The connection attempt fails with "Network error: Connection refused."
It seems like SSH server is not running, or at least not on port 22.
Should it be running on port 22? How to start SSH server?
Thank you.

After reading more on N5200 -- SSH daemon is not part of standard N5200PRO.
The forum suggests to install SSHD and SYSUSER mods.
Now I'm trying to find how to download and install the packages.
I've purchased N5200PRO this week and have many more "silly" questions.
Thank you for your patience.

A perfect source for modules is the Thecus Wiki: onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/Main_PageThere You will find i.e the SSHD and SYSUSER modules - and many others - and a lot of explanations how to install those modules. br Peter

I had this problem - as I'd only just set the device up, I got round it by destroying and re-creating the RAID, which isn't the best solution....
As far as trying to fix it goes, you can install the SERGETTY module and log in on the serial port - that should give you a route that'll allow you to see why sshd is breaking.
You can also try the RENMOD patch to move your modules directory out of the way, and then try re-installing the SSHD and SYSUSERS module. Have a look at the "SSH issue after install" thread in the installations forum for more details.
HTH,
Mike
