Hi,
as I cannot open my N5200 at the moment, can someone tell me what type of flash disk is used in the N5200?
Is it 40 or 44 pins?
Btw. this information is missing at the Thecus Wiki.....
Thanks
Andreas

Andreas, It is a standard 44 pin IDE flashram. Part number on mine is MDM4SLOS064MBPC. Manufacturer is shown as Afaya. NOT AVAYA I had looked at these when considering building a DIY NAS with the OS on a flash drive. www.afaya.com.tw/afaya-01/htm/products/01_mdm_l.htmThis is what they refer to as a left side module. A vertical module will not fit as it extends vertically from the motherboard and would hit the casing. A right hand module would face towards the bottom of the unit and may not fit because of interference with the base of the unit. Regards
