Ok, I've had the n2100 before buying the n5200 but I've never tried to add a user and set permissions on a folder before. What I am trying to do is setup a folder to require a username and password. So, I add a user and set the password. Then I go to the folders view, change my test folder to non-public. Click the ACL button and add the user to the writeable column. Now, in windows XP when I browse my network neighborhood and try to open the test fold it asks for a username and password. So far, so good. But when I enter my username and password I get the error dialog "\\N5200\test is not accessible. You migh tnot have permission to use this netowrk resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permisssions." Seemed simple enough to setup but clearly something is wrong. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm not logged into windows xp as the same user. Do I have to create a windows account that matches exactly the N5200 username? That would pretty much defeat what I want to do. I really just want to password protect certain folders, reguardless of the user.
I have v1.00.4.9 firmare on the n5200.
