I have a Thecus N2100 unit with a single Maxtor 400GB WDC WD4000KD-55N in it.
I'm nearing capacity and what I would like to do is either add another in a mirror array and keep my content safe or preferably purchase 2 750GB disks and copy everything I have onto this Mirror Raid Raid Array.
Is this possible? Bear in mind all I have is a laptop with a 60GB HDD.

well if i put another 400gb in there with JBOD then u would have 800gb total disk space right but if u went to mirror youd only have the original 400gb space and back to same problem of running out of space ? so what i m saying is want you want mirroring ? or more space ? cause if u want space just buy another 400gb hd thecususergroup.proboards106.com/index.cgi?board=installationissues&action=display&thread=1151403216or if you want mirroring and not loose your 400gb data then just buy two new harddisks and stick them in as RAID mirror (if u got two 750gb hds and raid mirror youd only have 750gb ) now to get ur old data you a) have to back it up to DVD's or or b) mount the 400gb in a linux pc

I was hoping there would be a way to install 1 of the 2 750GB HDD and copy everything accross onto it and remove the 400GB disk and then build a mirror array. I'm guessing that's not possible...
