Epson Photo R800 works fine, although ink level can not be checked with current epson driver. This is not N5200 specific, since I do have the same issue with my router / printserver.

My HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer/scanner is recognised by the N5200, but when I tried to connect to it from my PC it failed.
I'm hoping it's just a user error on my part and will let you know if I succeed.

HP 6210 AiO working from both Win XP and Mac OS 10.4 platforms.
The trick, apparently, is that you have to use a much older generic driver to get the 6200 series to work on an IP network. I used a DeskJet 990c driver on both the PC's and it works great (printing only functionality, of course, no network scanning or faxing).
The Mac OS X setup was a bit more wonky and is using a DeskJet 995c driver via Gimp-Print 5.0 beta - but it's working:)

Hi,
according to a post from nlrela, the Epson Photo R800 should work.
I had no luck with the same printer ...
Instead, when looking into the .../cups/error_log I see: .... D [19/Aug/2007:01:28:47 +0200] StartJob() id = 1, file = 0/1 E [19/Aug/2007:01:28:47 +0200] Unable to convert file 0 to printable format for job 1! I [19/Aug/2007:01:28:47 +0200] Hint: Do you have ESP Ghostscript installed? D [19/Aug/2007:01:28:47 +0200] CancelJob: id = 1 ....
Indeed I didn't found an installed version of (esp-)ghostscript? How can cups work without ghostscript (at least for non-postscript capable printers)?
My config: original 1.00.08 image with sysuser and ssh modules added.
Roger
