Hi,
since my upgrade to firmware 2.1.01 the blue power button does not light up any more when the box is on, neither in the boot phase nor afterwards. Did anyone also have this funny effect? The new firmware was otherwise a blessing.

Works great for me... haven't notice any difference in the way the lights work from the previous firmware. Perhaps you should reflash it and see if it works? ... Or does it even allow one to do that with the same version...

I wish there was a way to dim that light - it's blinding! What is it nowadays with bright blue LEDs everywhere?

Might be a bad LED
Try to put a piece of scotch tape over it?

all LEDs are seated on a small daughter board. Possibly the board is about to fall out or the contacts are dirty. Open the top cover, pull it out gently then put it back in.

Thanks for the tip. I did this today. I even turned on the N2100 with the cover open and twiggled with the led PCB. Nothing happened. I looked at the LED, looked OK, I looked at the whole circuit and it didn't have any broken/cold welds etc. Funnily enough the problem occured when I made the firmware upgrade. Then, for a certain period of time it worked and now, without any reason it stopped working. I cannot think that this is a HW issue, not with LEDs.
