Why same usable storage after changing all 3 hdds

Hi,

I changed all 3 hdds from 1,5gb (one degraded two on warning status) to 3 x 2tb. I changed them one by one. So after raid array rebuilt of the 1st drive i changed 2nd and the 3rd.

All looks fine (All OK ststus on 3 new hdds) but the overall usable size stayed 3gb (old drives 3 x 1,5tb).

My question is why its not 4gb now? (3 x 2tb hdds recently inserted)


Raid 5 wont expand by itself with all 3 bigger hdds? Do I have to start form scratch and build new raid 5 with new hdds? That means loosing all data.

Thecus N3200 in Raid 5.
