Hi, I'm looking your a surveillance ant storage solution for our company. It's not too big a company, so there are budget constraints ... The optimal solution would be a single machine, which can do both: store our data and being a host for the surveillance cams.
I happend to find the IP CAM Module for the NAS-Series aswell as a dedicated surveillance series (NVR), which run netavis. The former one is a rather basic solution, where the later one is very advanced. But both build on the same machines (NVR42 & N4200).
The tec specs. do not give too much details on, where the differences are.
Does anyone know the series in detail? Does the NVR also provide all the neat features the NAS offers? Or can a NAS be upgraded with the netavis software?
I appreciate your help very much!
Thanks, Patrick
