Hi folks
I'm a NAS newbie, so I have a few beginners questions:
I'm planning to setup my N5200XXX the following way
3x 2TB in RAID5 (=4TB) for main operation 2x 2TB in JBOD (=4TB) for backup
Now my question is: can the files from one JBOD disk be recovered if the other one fails and, if this depends on the file system, which fs should I choose for this?
What do you think of a setup like this in general?
Also, I have currently arranged the RAID5 disks in tray 1 to 3. But it now occurs to me that it would be thermally better to have them in tray 1,3, and 5, i.e. interleaved with the JBOD disks (which are used much less). How can I transfer a RAID5 disk from one tray to another one?
TIA, Beat

Recover corrupted RAID arrays in a fully automatic mode. Raid Recovery is the first tool to automatically detect the type of the original RAID array while still allowing for fully manual operation.
