Firmware v1.00.00.28 is available from www.thecus.com/Downloads/FW/N2200Plus/
There are no release notes for this release but there is a pdf file to provide instructions on how to apply the update.
The instructions say you must load it onto a FAT formatted USB drive, power down the N2200Plus, plug it into the back USB port and boot the N2200Plus. The update will be actioned automatically on the N2200Plus being rebooted. However, this did not happen on my system with the first USB pen drive that I tried. I tried a different USB pen drive and this resulted in the N2200Plus doing the upgrade which seemed to take about 5 minutes. During the upgrade process the blue power light blinks and eventually the unit turns itself off. BEFORE POWERING IT BACK ON - REMOVE THE USB PEN DRIVE FROM THE BACK !!!!
If you don't remove the pen drive then you are going to apply the update again. This instruction is not in Thecus instructions for the update. The instructions also say that the system will revert back to factory settings which it did with one exception; it did not use the static IP address 192.168.1.100 but used one from my DHCP server. Once I had tracked down the IP address I was able to login and reset the password, network parameters, date/time & timezone back to how I want them.
The upgrade from .24 to .28 was a success for me and I'm now looking around to see what has been fixed or what is new.
Andy
Edit ----------
I can't find any difference in terms of functionality between fw .24 and fw.28. Nothing in the management interface has changed or any of the bugs fixed that I can see. I'm not sure that the upgrade to .28 was worth the effort. Apart from resetting everything back to the factory settings it does not appear to have done anything.
