So like most, I got feed up with the noise so purchased a SilenXI IXP-13-14 to replace the PSU fan and a SilenX IXP-64-09 for the chassis fan. Installed both but when switched on the PSU fan wasn't working so switched to the old PSU fan and it stilled worked fine. So to ensure that the new PSU fan wasn't dud, I tested it using the chassis fan connector and it work perfectly well, so I know it's not a dud. Put it back in the PSU and it still didn't work. Any ideas?

Any ideas? I've just found the reason why. You have to switch the connector around of the PSU fan. Unfortunately this means bending the pins out a little for it to fit as it's a thicker connector than the original. I know have a very quiet box! ;D
