I'm trying to connect two n5200pro to an exsi 4.0 server
the problem is that vmware seems to find the target on the first and second nas with the same iqn, so I see the paths to both nas's, but can't see the actual device target.
the first nas has this iSCSI target: iqn.1996-03.xxx:RAID.iscsi0.vg0.vm1
the second nas has: iqn.2010-11.it.yyy:RAID.iscsi0.vg0.test1
to me, the problem seems to be the RAID.iscsi0.vg0 part, that the nas fills in automatically the only solution I've found so far is to create an iSCSI target on the second nas with minimum space allocation, and a second one that the esx server connects to. Since I will be having 3 iscsi targets on the first nas, I would have to create 3 unused ones on the second one, losing around 100gb of space.
Anybody have a solution to this problem?
