Hi! This is the first time I've really had any trouble with my N5200! I've got both my desktop and the thecus on a Netgear gigabit switch, running on cat 6 cables. This was working great for quite a while. Now, the Thecus only detects at 100mbit. I've tried swapping the cable, switch and I've checked the Thecus running on both the LAN and WAN ports. Nothing helps! This is the output from the INFO module for eth0 (WAN). Network Interface Info: eth0 Link Status: RUNNING Speed: 100Mb/s Duplex: Full Addr: 10.0.0.1 BroadCast: 10.0.0.255 NetMask: 255.255.255.0 TxBytes: 6579206 bytes TxPackets: 5538 packets RxBytes: 337299 bytes RxPackets: 3062 packets I've also tried a number of things including reupgrading the firmware to the current version (2.00.18.4) and reseting to factory defaults. Neither of these did anything either. I believe that I can specify the speed of the link using the linux tool ethtool, but I can't get that installed at the moment. It needs a C compiler, which also isn't installed Does anyone have any ideas? Or let me know if you require further information! Thanks!! Ben Has any experienced this before?

hey
have you tried a file copy to verifiy lower connection speed (files transfering no faster than 12.5MB/s)
need to isolate at which end of the connection is dropping down to 100mbit, your router or nas. maybe due to dodgy port on router. try bypassing router and connecting nas direct to pc.
