I would like to see the firmware upgraded or add-on mod. to allow external hard drives to be attached for backup purposes using up-to-date file systems like the NTFS or the exFAT format.
I can create FAT32 but worry about very large files (3-7 gig image files) being transfered to backup on older format drives, and with new HDDs of 2 terabytes available for backups via eSATA connection it would be great to use them to full capacity without worrying about their reliability and security.
