I have a N5200 (non-pro) running 2.00.18.4 (the latest on the 2.00 branch) which claims to have fixed some sort of buffer overflow problem with the media server.
My new panasonic dmp-bdp350 blu-ray player (i paid $50 extra for its DLNA feature) can't see the N5200 even though they're both plugged into the same router.
The N5200's CPU was pegged at 100% for a day or so after I turned on the built in mediabolic media server, but it's back to idle now.
I have one static IP assigned to the N5200 which is still served by my (rather lame, comcast business provided) router. I'm wondering if this is due to the N5200 not being in the 10.1.10.* DHCP range of all the other IP addresses in my subnet. Also, I'm pretty sure my switches support multicast which is evidently important for UPnP.
Any ideas what to do before I reconfigure my entire network to test the above hypothesis? Thanks in advance for any help or ideas people have.

I think the broadcasts are only working in the same subnet. br Peter
