We think about using Nsync Backup from one N8800 to another. Now I tested the Nsync feature and it's fine but there is still one problem.
I noticed that Nsync won't write a logfile and isn't logging much at all. Everything I can see is the last status on the N8800 web interface. When it says "Nsync success" you should assume that the backup has completed with no problem - but that's not always true.
I noticed when you edit some file on the Nsync source which is currently synced by NSync, the NSync Backup will be aborted. This is leaving corrupted files on the target - still the last status text says "NSync success".
What can be done about this? Can enhanced logging be configured for the Nsync process?
