On enabling/disabling the LAN setting DHCP, the NAS will ask to reboot in order to activate the setting.
When creating a folder and assocate an ACL, the NAS does not ask for anything and then you wonder for ages why the heck it does not work? It requires a reboot and the NAS could ask for it as it does for DHCP.
I believe there are other places like this, e.g. FTP port number, but I have not validated this again - perhaps Thecus Support (sorry - if it exists) could look int it?
