Hi,
I have just got my Thecus N2200 yesterday. After successfully setting up, I have been trying to upload files.
However, my windows will be hanging or freezing while copying the files sometime. When my desktop is hanging, I am still able to connect my laptop to access the N2200.
My desktop is running on Windows Vista 64bit and I have updated the NAS with the latest firmware 3.00.08.
May I know if this is because of windows configuration or NAS driver issue?
I could not register to submit a ticket due to the web site keep prompting me the following error: "ERROR: Invalid Verification Image Code"
I would appreciate if any of you could give me some advices regarding to my issue.
Thanks!
regards,

sorry I must of missed your posts, I try and help fellow Thecus users, as one person's experience can save hundreds of others' time.
mmm with your question.. Windows does hang while accessing network shares. It is never as fast as accessing a hard drive for example.
also if it hangs for an unusually long period, you could look at your power settings in Control Panel/Power Options.. and go to advanced settings on your Power Plan, and ensure that your LAN adapter or (WLAN if you use that) is not set to sleep mode if non-active etc.
Those are the two things that come to mind anyway...

Hello friends. I have the same problem in 2012 and have no solution for it - Windows 7 Vista hangs up while copying some files from 2-10 M. capacity. After regulating speed of net adapter (I've put it on 100 mbit) the problem became more softer but still exist. Some solusions or suggestions. Thanks a lot!
