Hi guys
I have an N4100Pro with the SSH plugin installed, and while I was doing some stuff in Putty I accidentally hit enter without really paying attention to the command - I'm pretty tired - and this command ran:
rm -rf cd /
I had been deleting some folders, then I had decided to cd to / but didn't notice the beginning of the previous command was in there.
Now the server won't let me browse any of the drives, it has no IP (LAN is blank, WAN is N/A) and I'm lost.
If anyone knows how to reinstall the required files then I'm willing to pay you for your help.
Alternatively, if I buy another unit, will these 4 disks be able to transfer straight into that one and work or have I f*cked that up as well?
The command only ran for about half a second until I realised what I'd done, so the vast majority of the data will still be on those disks.
As I said, I'm willing to pay handsomely for help that results in this thing being fixed.

I'm tempted to just go ahead and buy another unit. I've clearly f*cked the OS on this one...
So, 2 questions:
If I buy another unit, can I just slot my HDDs into that for it to work? I'm guessing the OS isn't actually stored on the drives so in theory it should, but I'd still like someone to confirm it for me.
Secondly, where does the unit store its OS? Is it on a chip on the motherboard? If so, I should be able to just get a motherboard for this one to get it working again, right?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, no thanks at all to this board or Thecus support (no reply at all), but I've sorted this out myself and have recovered everything.
