Hi
I have been writting a module for the Thecus 4100Pro to connect to a Topfield PVR, in order to perform a syncronisation of the TV files on the local hard disk, and everything was going fine.
I compile the executable on Ubuntu 9.10 copy it onto the NAS and can execute it from the SSHD module.
However as soon as I try to link to the Topfield library and copy te executable to the NAS and run it I get a message saying that the version of GLIBC is not the correct version.
I know that the version in Ubuntu is too new but I cannot find a way to downrade it or link to an old version. Likewise I cannot find a way to upgrade the version of GLIBC on the Thecus NAS.
Does anyone know of a way to link to the correct library or is there a safe way of upgrading the Thecus to have the correct version of the library?
I would be greatful of any help
Cheers Keith

It could be perhaps ok by make DEV env in CHROOT Env.
I will make some test soon , as i need to add some tools too .... but as Thecus has not release the DEV ENV and only package ...
Frankly it is just releasing package to tell .. ho yes we follow the rules of GPL but do not expect to make more on our box !
