Mentioned before, however, I mention it again in the hope that "WOL" receives priority and gets implemented very soon. Somehow I assumed that the N2200 offers this featured and I was very disappointed when finding out about the instead proposed scheduled-power-on/off. This function is pretty useless in our household where members want to get the data at irregular intervals and duration in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

As a post note:
Thanks to another entry in this forum pointing to the release notes where it was documented that the media server rescan causes the spin down of the disks not working, I disabled this media server and my NAS now sort-of "WOL's".
In practical terms - what would a real WOL change compared to the NAS and its disks being in idle mode - thank you very much in advance for any explanation?
