Hi there I'm certainly interested. I'm not a developer but can help you testing. Let me know if you need help.

I'd be interested in both this module, and some details on how you go about creating (eg. encrypting) modules for this device...
There's a few modules I'll probably write when I figure out how - SVN and a working upnp server being top of my list.

I would be very much interested, too. I just purchased an N0204 and want to replace the OS with something more solid and configurable. I managed to FTP in (user: thecus, pass: thecus) to the default bftpd server (only possible when the hard drives are removed), but even though I can upload files, it seems like it's just a ramdisk, and doesn't save changes on reboot. If anyone could provide pointers on how to create a simple hello world module for use with the N0204 it would be greatly appreciated!

I have put some info on building a module for N2200, with a HELLOWORLD and ROOTCMD to start with. From what I gather, the N0204 and N2200 are compatible in some ways, so it is worth trying. thecus.nas-central.org/wiki/Category:N2200

Seeing there has not been any reply for a very long time, I assume SSH on the miniNAS is not going to happen?
