I have a brand new just out of the box 4100PRO unit, with four WD15EADS 1.5Tb drives
Current Firmware is 2.01.09
Before I do anything else I want to upgrade to the latest firmware 3.00.05
When I do this through the usual web console I select the N4100PRO_FW_3.00.05.bin file downloaded from thecus.com and, after a short pause get 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' and when I Ctrl-F5 I get
Firmware Upgrade i Fail System firmware upgrade fail Check Sum : 2065b3e9cdce681739c09f17c5576a9a
After which the unit carries on as normal.
I have tried downloading the file again, and also from a completely different PC and location, applying with my firewall disabled & after resetting to factory defaults
I have raised a support ticket, but no replies as yet
Any ideas? I am not sure whether to try to do the upgrade via usb, or how to edit the .sh file if I did. Other than that I am stumped

Latest update: MD5 checksum of my firmware file is the same as another user who used the file successfully - so it is not a corrupt file
I also set up a RAID5 volume - still cannot upgrade the firmware
