Legit Reviews has a recent review of the N0204 here. I don't own one, but it looks to be a pretty cool little device.

Yes, but with a fence around! If your wife wipes the dust off and "blows" against the power cord - it's already off.... OK, you're right, it is a neat device - preferably in a glass display case - but the cord hanging out, secure with cable ties .... The connector is a joke (and no one noticed until now???) I should spend one for Dr. House.... he will find the right medicine (for the developer, the quality management and all the reviewers from the pc-magazines..... In Germany we have it, costs just a few cent's and its called "ibidumm"....

Why... Dunno what rossi has against it, but despite some quirk it ain't as bad as he depicts. True, the media server doesn't like non-media files and the web interface isn't flawless (never use it, so it's no big deal to me...). I bought it because I had 2 spare 2.5" units lying around. Since it's small and reasonably unexpensive, me thought "me gonna get one". Now, if you're gonna get it and you're using Win7, don't forget to run the install tool with administrator credential, otherwise it will report it cannot find the rom file (... with user privileges it cannot read the folder where it installed itself). Also you may want to play with jumbo-frames' size: enabling 8K frames I got a 12-14 Mb/s write speed (nothing to write home about, but not bad), but reading was UNDER 1 Mb/s.... Fiddling a bit with packet sizes both on my PCs and the N0204 you should get around 10 Mb/s both ways. The auto-on by schedule is nice, unfortunately there's no WOL. Even if it's got a tiny fan, it's very hard to hear..... when PCs are off you only hear a whisper. All in all, I cannot say it's a lemon.... nor I can say it's a bargain. It does what they say it should do..... only I hoped I could find a way to sneak in and do some modifications, like getting shell access by SSH, install Twonky Media Player (which is more robust than the one you get pre-installed). Unfortunately that seems out of my reach..... I'm not exactly a linux monster! (yep, since it's ARM based it runs linux)
I was thinking to get a N2200, but I'm beginning to suspect that it shares a lot with the tiny N0204...... If you're looking for something quite moddable, I guess they've got something with an AMD Geode inside (x86), but I'm pretty sure it comes at a premium price.
IMHO pros: small, reasonably priced, hot-swappable (yep, it works...) cons: "closed", somewhat quirky, support and apps not exactly top-notch
