Hi,
I'm a newb and want to install an sftp on my n2100 as I don't like regular ftp's security (or lack of it). After some searching, I see that there is an sftp module which may or may not come in the ssh v4. I can't find anything more on this subject at least that I consider with good newb instruction.
Since I really don't know what I'm doing yet, I'd like a complete step-by-step guide on how to install an sftp for the n2100. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.
It's currently running 2.01.10 firmware and sits on an old Linksys WRT54G via Verizon.

Hi,
Start the SSH module. Use winSCP to connect to sftp to the nas (it is simple as providing the nas IP and your credentials -login/password-).

yes you can enable sftp in the ssh module. but first its a good idea to specify what users you what to enable. I am having problems restricting users to certain directories using sshjail. If you manage to figure this out then let me know.
