I have a 4100+ with 2x750GB and 1x1TB drives (used to be 3x750s but a warranty call happened) I use a robocopy script to back up files from my server to the NAS (Server 2003, NAS mapped as N drive) and it's started failing to remove empty folders: robocopy e:\ n:\RAIDBackup /MIR /Z /TBD /FFT /TEE /R:5 /XD "e:\System Volume Information" "e:\RECYCLER" /log:"C:\robolog.txt" I noticed on the Thecus site the firmware currently installed has the note 'Robot copy cannot remove empty folders', which certainly sounds like my problem, but I updated the firmware nearly a year ago and robocopy only started failing six months ago. Anyone else seen this or have any ideas for a fix? A second script to run through the tree and delete empty folders after a sync is an idea but most scripts I've found to do it are either plain broken or reliant on 3rd party dlls, and besides, it's a far from ideal solution.
