Hello,
I currently have a media centre with 3 1tb drives each of these is full of my ripped films.
My ultimate aim is to move these drives to a NAS or WHS device.
I like the look of the n1400 but i'm concerned that in order for this to work, I will have to format the drives and start from scratch. Am I correct in thinking that this is the case?
If I have to rip them all again I will but I would rather not have to.
One last thing, my dvd collection contains about 600 films and continues to grow. With that in mind am I making the right choice or should I chose a device with more drive bays?
Kindest regards
Chris

Long time replying so I guess this forum might not be that busy But yes, dropping in NTFS formatted drives to a 4100 (I presume you mean) or any other NAS I've come across, will demand a reformat. As for your second questions, a 4100 would be fine, but you may want to start with larger HDs, like 3x2TB drives instead of 4x1TB, and when you need more space get another 2TB drive and expand the array.
