Hi I have just bought a ns3200 pro. It all works fine.
I have connected an eSata hard drive to the eSata port and formatted it from within the web interface and the NAS can see the eSata drive.
What I can't work out is, how do I access the eSata drive from my computer?
I have enabled sharing on the "service folder" menu and and made it browsable and public, but I dont see how to access it over the network?
Any help please,
thanks
John

I have just bought a 1TB eSATA HDD to use with my N3200. Like you I've formatted it from the Thecus web interface, and I have succesfully mapped a drive to it from my PC by using the path
\\thecus_N3200_IP\esatahdd\
Hope that helps?
What I can't understand is why this path is still useable even when the eSATA drive is not connected. Can anyone explain? Does the N3200 keep a synchronised copy of the data in the RAID array too or something similar?
