I have configured a 3200PRO on an office LAN. The RAID is functioning perfectly for computers on the LAN (192.168.64.1) and everyone is able to access the shares I have set up from their Windows XP computers.
I have configured the LAN port to use the static IP address 192.168.64.33 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0.
The office is connected via a VPN (router-to-router) to a field office with LAN address 192.168.65.0/255.255.255.0. Users in both offices can access computers on both networks without problems, with the sole exception of the 3200PRO.
Users in the field office are unable to access Windows shares on the 3200PRO. Furthermore, they are unable to access the web page of the 3200PRO from their web browsers and are unable to ping the 3200PRO as well.
I tried changing the netmask on the 3200PRO to 255.255.0.0, but the problem remains. I also connected the 3200PRO to the network via the WAN port instead of the LAN port, but the issue remains.
We have another Linux server at the office (which the 3200PRO is supposed to replace) that is running Samba and is accessible from the field office via the VPN without any issues.
Can anyone offer any advice on how I may configure the 3200PRO to resolve this issue?
