When trying to copy a single 84GB file to my N3200, the N3200 will rebuild the array before it completes. I think it actually reboots before the rebuild begins.
About 30GB of the 84GB file will transfer before this happens. I'm transferring over a 100Mbit connection. Transferring the file over a mapped network share or ftp triggers the problem.
I've contact Thecus support and they provided the 1.00.02.2 firmware and advised to return the product if it didn't fix the problem and the drives were verified healthy.
I'm surprised this isn't as simple as a firmware issue and I'm not keen to return the product only to have the replacement behave the same. I know it must be very rare to need to transfer a file that is so large (it's a virtual computer), so I'm wondering if it's an issue with all N3200 but it's simply not a problem triggered often.
I was hoping, if anyone is able, could they test if their N3200 rebuilds under the same situation? If you don't have a file that is that large you could use VMware converter to create one of your entire PC.
