ok, before I go insane and throw the whole lot out, I was wondering if i could get some advise on what might be going wrong.
I have loads of films on my N3200 (which has the newest firmware) in the service folder called 'Video'. I can map this to my computer using 'smb://192.168.0.100/video' in the 'Connect to server' function. It then asks me for a workgroup, which I leave blank, a username (andy) and password (admin). It then shows up like any other connected drive that I can browse and modify like any other.
So I have now plugged in my PCH, which has a HD in it and all the newest firmware. I have plugged this in to the N3200 directly with an Ethernet cable. When I go into the PCH and browse for network shares, nothing shows up at all. If I manually add 'smb://192.168.0.100/raid/video' or many variations of this it seems to connect but theres nothing in the folders.
On the N3200 I have NFS on, I have added the NFS access on the folder using the '*' hostname and allow Anonymous User.
Please, any help would be welcome as I have probably sat trying to get this working every night for over a week. If you need any more info, please ask!
Thanks
