Hi, Yes, you can install Ampache.
1. Download the Mysql module and install it. (http://onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N5200_Module:_MYSQL)
2. Download Ampache and follow instructions.
Post how it works out. I have been using Ampache for a while now and like it.

Hrvat, You should add a virtual host to your httpd.conf 1. make a copy of httpd.conf 2. Change the administration port of the NAS from 80 to 8080 via the administration interface. 3. Make a "www" directory on your raid. 4. add the virtual host and make it port 80 on the original httpd.conf file and point it to the new "www" directory. Instructions to add the virtual host: httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/vhosts/examples.html

Hrvat, Awesome! Glad I could help. Now you should be able to install just about any PHP/Mysql application. The next thing I'm tring to get compiled and installed is openLDAP so my applications will have a single sign-on, but don't seem to get guidance from this forum. If you'd like we can compare ampache databases, email me at yahoo.com (use my userid). Mike

Hello, how nice to be here... My Thecus N5200 is really a runner..... The modul option is awsome. I would also install the ampache, but it will not work I have the mysql database installed and my httpd.conf has the new path for my htdocs. The setup for ampache works also ...until the last step.... After step 3, there is a blank page... Any ideas ? Thanks

Hey Dude, It's been a while since I checked out this forum. I hope you were able to get Ampache installed. I found sometimes it takes a couple tries to get the install right. Patience and reading then re-reading the prompts will get you thru it.
