Has anyone done any development for the Thecus or compiled binaries for it?
I am trying to get either rtorrent or transmission to compile and run on my N5200, but I am not having any luck.
Any insight into this would be useful.

you will probably need to statically link the code. What system are you trying to compile on? I've always used centos 4.6 but others have used different linux flavours. Have a hunt around this forum, you'll find other related posts.

Hey drewy great work, AZUR downloads extremely fast.
The only problem I have is after the torrent downloads and is ready to seed it doesn't go to the bottom table but disappears
The web UI shows it's seeding.
OH and also is it safe to update per AzSMRC's request?

wolverex,
Not sure I follow what you mean about the torrents once they have downloaded, you can access the file on the nas right? It's just the position of it on the client that's confusing?
Yes you can allow azureus to update, it can be a little tempermental..have a read of this thread from the begining BUT don't try updating the azrmc component this will lead to problems with the client connecting.

I've upgraded and now i don't have the issue of torrents disappearing from AzSMRC after they are done.
But it will happen if I upgrade while downloading torrents. So after the upgrade, the downloading torrents disappear from AzSMRC but in the WebGUI they are still there downloading. Guess that's still ok i can just reload them at most.
One thing i would like to ask is if Azureus will constantly cause hard disk activity even if there are no torrents running? I have no torrents active and running just Azureus, my drives never go to sleep and there is disk activity every 5-10 seconds.

I believe so, yes. Azureus will be hitting the disk even if no downloads are going on. Best bet is that if you aren't using it for a while is to disable the module.
