Well drewy what im sure about is that the azsmrc plugin bug or issue that couldnt connect azureus server is fixed with the latest java version as you said.
But now we got a second problem and it hasn't do anything about your module cause i got the latest java version + vuze (4.2.0.8) with azsmrc plug-in version 0.9.9 and now the ¨Remote Plugins" feature doesn't work and the chance is quite big that is the fault of the latest vuze version.
Ive already visited azsmrc plugin forum and they got a thread about the same problem and i posted the problem also on vuze forum. So all we can do is just wait for a while, and see what vuze developers have to say about it. If i got time then ill try to test with older versions of vuze in the weekend.
Maybe you got a site where i could download older versions of vuze for linux....

Tried installing the new module on an N7700 with the 3.00.07 BETA firmware.
It tries to go through the upload phase but quickly terminates, without the browser's own progress bar (at the bottom of IE) reaching 100%. As a result, the module does not show up in the installed modules list.
I can still install the AZUR version 3 module without any problems.
Any thoughts?

sorry, no I don't. I have heard similar reports from users trying to install on 4100pro's. Since I only have a 5200pro to test on I can't replicate your specific problems.
That being said I have recently downgraded my firmware to 2.00.16 due to performance and stability issues caused by the v3 beta firmware, so I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to install v3 beta firmware on a 5200 at present.

Quick question.......it doesn't appear to me that I can download files without the AzSMRC client? I assumed that there was a way to download these .torrent files directing into the webpage for Azureus?
Just want to clear that up. So far I can only download torrents if I use the AzSMRC client.

nope. The remote client is probably the nicest way to add torrents but you can also use the web interface which should be running at http://<nas ip add>:6886

I apologize but how do I use the web interface on port 6886 to add a torrent file to it to download? Unles I misread your reply.

i'm having trouble finding my torrents once i've downloaded them. i've everything set up (i think) correctly, but the torrent client isn't putting my files where I want them to go. i have only have one data volume on a raid5 volume called simply 'raid' with a folder called data under that. i have connected AzSMRC to my NAS running azur.mod and can happily mess around with it (although I get an error about needing v1 of the plugin on the server) and everything seems to be okay. i've set my torrent files and downloads to save to /raid/data/torrents and then when they complete they should move to /raid/data but although my downloads are working perfectly, when they are finished there is nothing in the /raid/data or /raid/data/torrents folder at all. i checked a completed download and tried to move it, but as well as not moving it was saying its current remote directory is /raid0/data which doesn't even exist on my NAS. the weird thing is, if I delete the torrent and then add it again, it still says the data is still there and is listed in my completed downloads and starts seeding again, so it's there somewhere. what am I doing wrong here? thanks for your help, this is driving me a little bit loopy.

I think i see what you have done wrong. First i think raid and raid0 directories are just the same. Second azur.mod has done exactly what you have asked him to do to put the completed files in raid/data/. And that is what you have done wrong you have to make a directory through the webinterface of the NAS where you can point at not a already existing one. If you connect through ssh and you browse to that directory youll see all youre files there. What you have to do is make a new directory just beside Torrent directory /raid/data/torrent/ (which you already have) /raid/data/completed (New directory you have to make) tell azur module to move completed files to the directory you wanted in this case directory completed you can also name it something else XD. The next thing is check if you can enter that new folder using just the network. After that connect to the nas using SSH and browse to the raid/data folder move all the completed files to the new made directory using mv command. mv <directory> /completed If you have any problems with other commands just hola XD

First i think raid and raid0 directories are just the same. S That depends if the application handles link correct. /raid/data contains links to all the shares created. The "real" shares are on /raid0/data and the links in /raid/data are pointing to the shares in /raid0/data. If You have more than one raid, then there exits also a /raid1/data and so on - but everey share can be accessed via /raid/data. BUT - if the application does not handle links correctly (i.e. does not following symbolic links) then it's not the same. br Peter

Okay, so I foolishly let azsmrc update my azureus to v4.
The remote plugins stopped working and then the updated azureus needed restarting every day (java heap space error).
So I uninstalled and reinstalled azur.mod and it's working fine again, but the only update available is for v4!
Anyone know how can I get v3 again - which was working fine?
I tried the beta azur.mod, but it just doesn't install - because I am on v2 firmware I guess!

have a poke about on the Vuze/Azureus website and see if you can find a download for the version you want. If you can find it, post back here and I'll talk you through installing it.
