Hello, perhaps it is a silly question, but: Where can i download the post-related modules? I´ve searched to avoid this post, but haven´t found anything! Best regards, Randalo

I would really like to use the SSH module with my 4100+, however neither the 2100 nor 5200 versions will load because of a model-check when I try to load them.
Are they compatible with 4100(+) and if so, is there a way to adapt them so that they can be loaded?

Hi adam, I run SSH on my thecus. It works only with login as root. User can't access. I don't know, why. To run a N2100-module on N4100+, you must unpack the mod file. tar zxvf module.mod Then you must edit install.rdf in Configure. original line: <md:NasType>N2100</md:NasType> modified line: <md:NasType>N4100PLUS</md:NasType> Then repack the module-dir tar zcvf module.mod ./moduledir You can look here for packing and unpacking onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Module_Developmentinstall module I hope it helps.

if there is some interest I could add a second NasType line to the N2100 modules. This should make them installable on the N4100+ without modification. Of course I cannot guarantee that these modules will work as I have no means to test them on an N4100+.

In the meantime, thanks also to you crazyeddie. I'll give that a go until getmythe is able to build them for 4100+.

I too have a 4100+ and have been attempting to install the NFS and SSH modules and if i could find a working download i would also really REALLY love to have rsync.
I do have quite a bit of linux experience as i have been using it on the desktop and server for 10 years now so i did go and repackage the ssh module as posted in the directions, yet they still refuse to install and show up. I have even verified via nmap that none of the ports are opening up.
I would like to find others with 4100+ and hopefully some linux experience to help figure out what the heck is happening. I will happily repackage any modules i can to get them working for the 4100+ and host them one of my websites for other users too.
Anyone interested in this please contact me. me AT timothytuckDOTcom. You should be able to figure out that email address.
