Hello,
I uploaded the twonky module after a small modification. It installs fine and says that it is activated. But I can not connect to the config page by using the port 9000. It seemd that this port isnt opened from the box. Any ideas?
Benny.

Hello,
is there anyone who could exchange the binaries in the twonky module in some that can run with the n3200 cpu?

according to the gpl thing they posted on their website the box is running linux. I've had a look at the sources, but no additional info is there to succesful build something for this box. I've also asked thecus about it, they say warranty is void when firmware is altered , and the sources are posted "for reference" only...

Hi,
but we only want to create some modules. We dont want to alter the firmware.

is there any known website where i can see which devices are running the freescale cpu?
i´ve got some embedded systems running with linux. maybe there is an opportunity to compile something, if the cpu matches... ;-)

All you need is the toolchain to be able to cross compile it all. So far all that is to be found about this box is gpl sources.
It would be helpful if there would be docs available on how to build modules for this box.
Strangely for the N2100 there is ssh access while for this box there is not...

(The 1654 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed) PORT STATE SERVICE 21/tcp open ftp 80/tcp open http 111/tcp open rpcbind 139/tcp open netbios-ssn 443/tcp open https 445/tcp open microsoft-ds 631/tcp open ipp 2049/tcp open nfs 3689/tcp open rendezvous MAC Address: 00:14:FD:11:2C:42 (Unknown)
these are my open ports... as i can see - nothing that look like a shell or something like that...

Hi,
nice work, can you try this again while the box is booting? Maybe the ssh port is just open for a few second, like some router.

i found one hidden item: 10.10.10.199/adm/getform.html?name=allsetbut not worthy to tell - just system-description maybe some other thecus nas-boxes (n2100 / n4100/ ...) user could post the sourcecode of their nas-box-website (after login!!) thanks

Hacking the N3200 should be a piece of cake User benkly already created a module which installs on the n3200. His module can be used as a starting point. E.g. just write a module which creates a listing of all the files in the root directory, then use the info gained to create a complete archive of of the firmware using tar. getmythe

hi, yes, it should be easy. i installed a modified module of WebAccess. i implemented "phpinfo(); and ls -la" to show on the module-page. btw: php 5.05 is used on the box but then someting went wrong - i don´t know how i made the module. as i remember you have to do the following: # unrar e Webaccess.rar # tar -xzf N2100-Webaccess # cd WEBAccess/WWW modify the "index.html" do a tar -cf modulename.tar ./ -R do a gzip modulename.tar upload module first time - all went great. but after 2nd modification the module isn´t working.... is there a howto for howto build the module (just the tar + gz + naming process)
