Hi all,
Using the N2100's NFS module as a template, I've been replacing the binaries with PPC equivalents from the woody packages repository.
I now have an installed module, but cannot map to it.
I have a folder /raid/Music exported correctly, but no nfsd processes show in rpcinfo and a client cannot connect to it.
The client error is this:
RPC Error: 15 ( Program not registered ) rpcinfo shows this:
hercules:/raid/module/NFSD/bin# ./rpcinfo -p program vers proto port 100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper 100000 2 udp 111 portmapper 100005 1 udp 1035 mountd 100005 1 tcp 1024 mountd 100005 2 udp 1035 mountd 100005 2 tcp 1024 mountd 100005 3 udp 1035 mountd 100005 3 tcp 1024 mountd Note the lack of nfsd processes.
Does anybody have any ideas? Perhaps the N2100 NFS authors?
Cheers.

I made one few days ago and uploaded to: onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N1200_Module_ListReferring to your problem: The N1200 is different from N2100 in the sense that N2100 seems to have the kernel mode NFS daemon compiled in (I am not sure because I don't have one in hand) but the N1200 is a kernel module. So the problem is: you must load the module first. The simplest way is to add a modprobe line in the starting script (enable.sh).

Heh, I've just got my module working, thanks to some pointers from the author of the N2100 NFSD module. And now I see this, lol.
I'll compare our modules and see what's different and if there's any point uploading mine (which I doubt there will be).
Cheers, Steve.

Just tried yours and you've set the rdf file to the beta firmware (1.0.07.2). I changed this this 1.0.06 to allow it to work on the production firmware, all appears well.
Would you care to update and re-upload your module accordingly?
There's no point me finishing the scripts for my module when yours works and is implemented in exactly the same way.
Regards, Steve.

Done. Now version 1.0.01 means that. You can find it in the same location.
