Anybody got ClamAV working?
That would be a nice touch!

I already played with the idea to run AV scans on the box directly. ClamAV (clamscan) runs fine and mem/cpu consumption is not as bad as expected.
I will prepare a MODULE and expect it to be ready within the next couple of days.

Lovely...MANY thanks.
I feel embarrased about giving someone else the extra work to do.
What is your development environment? I have read the module howto but I am still unsure of how to proceed...is it really just a matter of "create a statically-linked binary suitable for a 2.6-series linux kernel, package into a module and go...?"
Cheers,
Alph

The N5200 seems to be based on Slackware 9.2 but running a 2.6 kernel.
I personally am using CentOS 4 (based on RHEL 4) with gcc 3.3.6.

I was not able to spend that much time I likes to last week - the binaries are compiled in and the signature database update part (freshclam) is working and can be configured through the WebUI.
What I am working on now is the job control part. I want to be able to configure and control scheduled scan jobs through the WebUI. I expect this to take another week.
If someone wants to get/use the module in it's current state to scan the data from the shell I am able to publish a functional pre-release of the module. Just tell me ;o)
