a sys info panel that showed
1.) the processor info, model stepping etc.
2.) the onboard mem info
and maybe a bios edit panel
Lastly, the ability to have 5 drives in the unit that might not all be on the same raid. For instance the ability to have a raid5 on 3 drives and JBoD the last 2 cuz so far my 2 extrenal USB drives are useless. They cant be seen by anyone except the 5200 itself

I STRONGLY second the last comment; I would VERY much like to be able to have more than one "setup" in the Thecus 5200. As Torch said, a RAID5 setup with 3 disks as well as either a RAID1, RAID0, or JBOD for the remaining 2 disks. I would also very much like to be able to see any externally connected USB disk(s) via the network as well.
On that note does anyone know how many external USB connected disks you can attach to the 5200BR? Can you put a USB hub to add more? Not expecting to be able to do so, just curious...

Be nice to have more control of the disks, individually. 1) have a "erase disk" option- which when selected (and confirmed) would erase the contents of the disk. 2) "disk check" option- hit it to run some basic SMART disk tests
