SYSUSER 2.00.02 works fine now - the old set password for sys remains during uninstall version 2.00.01 (which includes my modification of module.rc) and install of 2.00.02. The others I've not tested and because I go for skiing holidays on friday, I will do no tests during the next 2 weeks - will first install my UPS and then proceed with testing. br Peter

gideon007 peterfuFine that it's working (again). It's not curious, it's by design... Every time the module gets disabled or uninstalled, the module configuration is saved to a persistent place (/raid/data/module/backup). Then, when enabling or installing the module again, the configuration is restored. This was already working for the SYSUSER module but was screwed for the SHUTDOWN module. so the next time you reinstall the SHUTDOWN module you shouldn't need to set the passwords again. And I think I know why the shutdown using the web interface is not working anymore when IMGDUP is installed: the sysdown script is started from /raid/data/module/IMGDUP/img/.... and the script itselfs checks to see if a process still accesses /raid/data. If so the process is killed - and that's unfortunately us. I already know how to fix it - but I'm short in time, so it'll take some time.... Andreas P.S. peterfu, have fun skiing und Hals und Beinbruch! ;D

I'm not having any luck with the INFO module
I have 1.00.06.5 installed Never installed any other modules prior to this
Install info 2.00.01 module (I would have sworn is said module installation failed.) But it was in the module list, disabled, and the installation e-mail looked OK. Uninstalled the module (e-mail confirmed removal) Reinstalled the module (e-mail confirmed installation) this time there was no failure message Enabled the module Press INFO link and it returns 'no name given'
Any ideas? Thanks

No hurry, it's not urgent @jk: about the blank page "no name given", see the 2nd page of this thread. Omega explained it to peterfu and at the end of page2 I also asked for that again

I'm having a problem with 6.5 when I try and install a module - I was getting the blank screen so I used the renmod patch and rebooted.
Now when I select the .mod file and hit install, the module page just refreshes in the browser, but the module isn't installed.
Any ideas?

nogami, What module do you try to install? What is the URL of the blank page you see? Can you try this URL in your browser (please replace the IP addr): 1.2.3.4/modules/cfg/module.dbThis is the module configuration database which is offered to you for download. Please tell me if you can download that file or not. Andreas

Originally when I was getting the blank page, it was calling: 192.168.1.100/adm/module.htmlAfter using the renmod patch, it calls: 192.168.1.100/adm/getform.html?name=moduleSo I select the info.mod file and click install, and it pops the confirmation "do you want to install module?" and I click OK, then it just clears the text box beside the install button and nothing happens. The file you mentioned was there, and I could download it (looks like a SQlite database). Any ideas? It looks like when you click "OK", the form is being submitted, but nothing happens.

I'm just thinking on what can cause what you see....
Are you sure that you've selected a/the correct .mod file? Issuing a wrong or non existent file will not give you any error message and will exactly give you what you see (just try to give xxx as filename and press the install button).
Have you configured e-mail notification?
Could you try another module (I would suggest the sysuser module as this one is one of the best tested ones and does not much).
I'll keep thinking about it....
Andreas

If you already upgraded to 1.00.06.5 without renaming /raid/data/module first and step 2 is not applicable, then please tell me and I'll create a pseudo-patch which will rename the old /raid/data/module directory to another name. yes this happend to me.... :-( i think i shouldn't play around with beta's too much can you pls put that patch on the net, because i really like your modules! tnks

Hi adablacky, welcome to the forum..... The module is already available (since a long time) here: onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N5200_Module:_RENMODGlad that you like the modules.... Andreas BTW: did you use the SSHD module with firmware 1.00.05 (and SYSUSER and AUTOSTART)? I ask because someone else has problems to get this running with 1.00.05 and I really wonder why nobody else complained about that.
