Hi.... Before I even dare to start playing with a new firmware, I would be very interested in knowing about the success or failure of your upgrades. To keep this simple... - If you have a standard box (only standard firmware installed).
- And has upgraded to 1.00.07
...could you please do a very short replay with just the result? No details. Either - Worked for me
- Dont know yet...
- Didn't work for me
My goal is to get an idea if the 1.00.07-firmware has brought success or not to users with an unmodified system. ,

Maybe difficult to be answered by most people here as I assume almost all of them installed at least one of the modules.... But it is an official firmware release so I don't really understand why you are so skeptic especially if you consider that so many upgraded to the new firmware even though they have installed some modules.... Hope you'll find someone and get an answer..... Andreas

Hi!
I updated the standard 1.00.03 firmware of my not yet module tuned Thecus without any problems. Even my 3COM wireless USB adapter was recognized now.
Right after that I planned to install a few of the marvelous modules created by omega (YES, endless thanks for your efforts, omega!!!!!!).
Well done I installed INFO SYSUSER SSHD in that order, no problems so far. But when I try to go to the modules property pages I always read "no name given". I already tried different browsers and disabling every network filter/firewall, without change.
I can login via ssh without problems.
Any ideas around, what's the reason for that behaviour/malfunction?

One quick question,
I have to upgrade my stock 1.00.04 firmware to 1.00.07 today. I added an extra drive last night to migrate from RAID 1 (500GB) to RAID 5 (1TB) and the old firmware hasn't grown the user partition to fill the extra space. I'm led to believe by someone elses experience that this is a bug fixed by newer firmware.
What I need to know is whether the firmware upgrade procedure will reset the WAN interface's IP address to the default. My IP address is currently changed from the default. The docs are not 100% clear on this, so I'm seeking clarification.
Thanks,
Rattus

Hi Rattus, welcome to the forum..... the firmware upgrade keeps your system configuration so the IP address isn't changed by the upgrade process (if nothing goes wrong). But for me it always worked..... Andreas

New box no drives installed yet. Upgraded from .04 to .07 with no issues. IP address did not return to default but stayed as configured.
