One of my LEDs which shows the LAN activity (green) is not working any more. My retailer requires that I send him the whole box back to replace it but this makes no sense for me as one could simply exchange the small PCB which hosts the LEDs and I need my data.
I have tried numerous duo-LEDs (green/red) from the market but none seems to work.
Does anybody know what type of LED the Thecus uses for the LAN activity? Any tip would help (voltage, colours, manufacturer...).

Are you using both LANs? Can you swap the two LEDs?

No, I am using only LAN 1 only but I would really like to have both LEDs working correctly without any issue.
The box is three weeks old and it annoyed me that the led malfunctioned so fast. Normally they last for very long.

I finally managed to fix it. Thecus uses leds that are simply not obtainable in the German market. They use exactly the opposite polarisation than all leds I have ever seen and the LAN leds are furthermore green/orange... I had to take a green/red duo led, chop off the one wire for the red light, twist the other two pins to invert the polarisation and weld it back in.
Outcome: green light flashes and if the network is down... I will know it otherwise.
Cheers!
