before i buy a n2100 ... i want to ask:
the new firmware still limits file names: characters like , ; & are not supported (so they say on the thecus download page) ...
is that still true? what happens, if i try to copy files/folders with those characters to the box? do you think, these characters will be supported in the near future?
PS: my mp3-collection is named exactly like the original songs are - so there are some , and & in it ,-)

Using a mapped drive on XPsp2, I tried creating a folder called...
New, Folder [ ] = + ; ” ,
...and it seemd to work.
Then I tried creating a subfolder called "test". That seemed to work too.
Finally I tried looking in the new folders using the Web UI, served directly from the n2100; that seemed to work too.
So support for such names may be better than officially announced, but your mileage may vary.
