Hi all, I tried to use the MediaServer coming with the 1.00.05 release. Despite the fact that I'm not having any DLNA capable software client, the MediaServer executable gives me headache. So even I don't need it, I would like to let you know about my experiences in case you need it. 1) The MediaServer takes at least another 20 MB of system ram in my case leaving just about 3 MB of free memory. 2) At least one time the MediaServer crashed a left a coreimage behind in the directory /raid/data/dlnamedia/bin (size 20 MB). 3) After some time (about 2 minutes) the first error messages are produced by the MediaServer telling me out of buffer errors. After some time all mediaserver processes are killed (I couln't find out yet when this happens). 4) While scanning the media directories the MediaServer uses up to 40% of CPU load. 5) After adding a shared folder using the web configurator, I cannot remoce that folder anymore. Everytime I uncheck my share in the config dialog, it tells me "Folder Remove" but the folder will show up checked again. One hint: While the MediaServer is running, you can see the internal status pages of that software by accessing this web site: http://<ip-addr>:8080/mdiag This also means that if the MediaServer is running, the 8080 port is occupied. Andreas EDIT: added bug #5

I experimented with it a little bit.. though I didn't have any of the major problem you did.
I loaded a trial version of Cyberlink PowerDVD and it picked up the media server and all it's scanned files, though I didn't actually play any of them.

First off, you need version 7...
I managed to find it pretty quick, but I'll have to look again when I get home from work. It was a screen that shows media file sources and on left and one of them is for uPnP servers.
You can then view video, music, and picture folders under that server.

Start up PowerDVD 7...
There is a little button/icon on the very bottom that looks like a little disk drive with an upside triangle next to it. Click and choose the 'open media files' option.
That will open up a new window with a directory tree on the left. Below that, there should be a 'UPnP Browser' tab. Click that.
You should be able to then browse your indexed media files on your N5200.
