I've been trying to connect a Serial Port to the T4100. I've soldered a header into the 10 holes on the expansion board. When I connect the serial port, however, I get garbage. I've tried xoring the garbage with all 255 byte values, and can't get anything coherent to come out. 115200, 8bit, No parity. I even verified the signal levels on an oscpe. Bit widths confirm that baud rate.
Has anybody else succeeded in breaking into the boot roms and installed a new kernel.
I looked at the GPL sources, and I couldn't find anything that was doing any kind of flips. I also confirmed that 115200 was the right baud rate.
Ideas?

My N4100 came with a 10 pin header on the back plane. The interesting is the header is mounted on the same side as the fan.
