Hello,
SO I have discovered that several folders get mounted from the /clooprom directory. In this directory, we have:
root@127.0.0.1:/clooprom# ls -l
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 530854 Jan 18 2013 appbin_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1320363 Jan 18 2013 imgbin_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3421979 Jan 18 2013 mod_2.6.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20016538 Jan 18 2013 opt_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 486405 Jan 18 2013 ecurity_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 314934 Jan 18 2013 usrsbin_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 880894 Jan 18 2013 www_v1.rom
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 277522 Jan 18 2013 oneinfo_v1.rom
From df -h, we get:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 54M 45M 8.6M 84% /
/dev/root 54M 45M 8.6M 84% /
/dev/hda5 9.3M 1.4M 7.5M 16% /app
/dev/hda6 7.5M 1.1M 6.4M 15% /logfs
tmpfs 256M 448K 256M 1% /tmpfs
/dev/hda7 59M 5.4M 54M 10% /modules
/dev/cloop0 9.7M 8.3M 973K 90% /lib/modules
/dev/cloop1 68M 50M 15M 77% /opt
/dev/cloop2 6.8M 4.0M 2.5M 63% /img/www
/dev/cloop3 4.9M 3.7M 992K 79% /img/bin
/dev/cloop4 3.0M 1.3M 1.6M 44% /lib/security
/dev/cloop5 3.9M 1.1M 2.7M 29% /usr/share/zoneinfo
/dev/cloop6 9.7M 696K 8.5M 8% /usr/sbin
/dev/vg0/syslv 992M 34M 959M 4% /raid0/sys
/dev/vg0/lv0 2.0T 618G 1.4T 31% /raid0/data
So, if I want to update my iSCSI or Busybox files, I will need to be able to make a new ROM file with the updates files inside of it. The system mounts these as RO mounts, and the files are within them.
I know /opt/bin has the iSCSI commands, so this will need to be updated to get a more current version.
root@127.0.0.1:/opt/bin# ./iscsiadm -V
iscsiadm version 2.0-865
If anyone knows where the script is that mounts there, that would be helpful. It might be as simple as mounting them as RW and then copy the new files to there?
Thanks,
David
