Ok I'm completely new to this and not at all familiar with Linux. Can someone tell me how to run a command to the N5200 from a Windows XP PC?
Many thanks and please do bear with me.

hey the easiest way to run stuff on your n5200 not provided by the firmware is via the 'n5200 modules'. you can load modules via the web interface >system>module mgmt a list of modules below; onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N5200_Module_Listsome of the modules may have broken links (the thecus wiki was damaged) so'll you'll need to google the module name to find a copy if list has broken link. NOTE: the wiki is slated to be pulled down in march. also not help by the fact thecus has pulled support for the n5200 series. good luck.

Thanks guys. I already have the SSH module installed as well as the SYSUSER mod. I think both where needed for another mod I installed. However, I have never needed to send a command of any type to the N5200 such as this one "rm -rf /raid/data/module/backup/NZBGET".
I am assuming that one would still use cmd but I have no idea what I would then type to send that instruction to the NAS. I've tried telnetting but have since learnt that won't work as you need to SSH, I just don't have a clue how to do this and all help is truly appreciated. (/me looking for the embarrassed emoticon...)
... I really am on a steep leaning curve ;D

well, you got the ssh and sysuser module installed... then just use ssh to ssh into your machine with the sysuser account. once you ssh'ed into it you can just enter this command and hit enter. SSH clients www.openssh.com/windows.html
